Duncan is running to bring experienced, effective leadership to Lothian East. With a proven track record of delivering real change on budget and on time. He demonstrates that experience and passion can make a significant difference. Duncan cares deeply about Scotland and the UK. He believes we need the political stability the Liberal Democrats offer. They will create conditions that will enhance local prosperity and deliver progress for the entire community.

He recognises that our local economy is held back by government interference. We need policies that support growth and reduce obstacles for businesses, vital to our community.

Duncan is committed to the environment, but insists that local green energy projects, like the Berwick Bank wind farm, directly benefit the community. He advocates for schools to have the freedom to innovate and help children succeed. He believes our healthcare system must be accessible and local, especially for end-of-life care. The closure of community hospitals in Dunbar and North Berwick is unacceptable and must be addressed.
